– 2 ripe pears – 2 cups arugula or mixed greens – ¼ cup crumbled blue cheese or feta – 2 tbsp chopped walnuts – 1 tbsp olive oil – 1 tsp balsamic vinegar – Salt and pepper to taste

Ingredients
Store unripe pears at room temperature in a paper bag to ripen.
Once ripe, transfer to the fridge to slow spoilage.
For salad, slice pears just before serving to avoid browning.
In a bowl, combine greens, cheese, and walnuts.
Add sliced pears on top.
Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic, then season with salt and pepper.
Toss gently and serve immediately.
